Dyekjaer Stud is located at a farm in the beautiful nature of Maglesø green hills, in West-Sealand, in Denmark. The farm is daily managed by Anne Caroline & Dennis Dyekjær, with the help of their 3 children, and the parents of Anne; Birthe & Bjarke Dyekjær who also lives on the farm.  The stud had its beginning 20 years ago in Hørsholm, Northern Sealand. The first arabians we purchased, 22 years ago, were of mixed bloodlines, and were used in dressage, jumping and terrain (millitary). Today we do no longer compete in sports. The horses lives in a "free-nature" area, and gets their excercise in the terrain. They are kept in close contact with humans every day, but learns how to behave in a herd in a natural enviroment. They live most of the year in 35 acres free natures land, which we believe brings us happy and healthy horses with high fertility. Our breeding program today consists mainly of Straight Egyptians, where our goal is the classic arabian horse, with the mesmerizing "typey" look and enchanting personality. We like our horses to have a beautiful face, with big dark eyes, and dry desert look, but mostly important, we aim to breed the light and refined arabian type with flowding  movements,  wellshaped neck, nice body & topline, high tail-carriage, and a lovely charisma. Our 5 foundation broodmares represents the strains of Abbeyah (Om Jurays), Kuhaylan (Rodania and Jellabiet),and Siglavy (Jidranieh). We offer natural coverings by our stallions, and sometimes offer horses for sale from our breeding or from our network and partners.
